CSI Season Premiere Friday, Sep 22 2006

Anyone here catch the season premiere of CSI (the original and best of course) last night? No mention of Google, though. From the looks of it, there are so many questions to be answered; about Grissom and Sarah, and Catherine, and I just can’t wait for part 2 next week.

It looks to be a great season.

iTunes 7 Tuesday, Sep 12 2006

So I just downloaded iTunes 7 and noticed it had added a bunch of files to my music library. These were files hidden away somewhere on my hard drive, that I had downloaded 3 years ago. It was like going back in time. I discovered an mp3 of “Did I Say That?” by Meat Loaf, and “Here, There and Everywhere” by The Beatles, among other things.

Besides these discoveries, iTunes 7 has tons of great little features, like showing a song file in Windows Explorer. The new blue double-eight note icon is gonna take some getting used to. I really liked the green one. Also, movies are not shown in the Library anymore! Long have I waited for this feature. I was getting tired of podcasts and movies showing up in my library so I was using a hack by just creating a smart playlist excluding a few genres like “Podcast” and “Movie Trailer”.

Anyway, I’d waste too much time pointing out every single little thing so go check it out yourself.

5 Years Later Monday, Sep 11 2006

I guess I should post something about the September 11th attacks today. But honestly, I really don’t have all that much to say, other than I don’t feel any safer today. Somehow all this stuff about taking off your shoes and throwing away harmless liquids doesn’t make me feel one bit safer. It does however make me angry and frustrated.

I had just started 6th grade on September 11th, 2001. I wasn’t sure how to feel on that day about what happened. I’m still not.
