Ok, like most WordPress.com blogs, I’m holding an invite giveaway. Here’s how you can get a shiny new WP.com blog:

Give me a good reason why I should give you an invite and give me your favourite Elton John Song and/or Simpsons Episode. I like to put twists on normal contests.

Also, I’ll try to put up some screenshots of the new admin interface and WYSIWYG editor (which I thought I’d hate but I actually love!).

Update: UnSaviory wins (he had me at “I’m a slightly opinionated blabbermouth”). I may get more invites, and there are still other invite contests (see the comments of this post) so hang in there if you didn’t win!

Well, I know for one reason you should give me an invite because I’m one of the few people who read your blog daily . I’d also make good use out of it, for stuff that seems out of place on my “actual” blog. As for my favorite Elton John Song, I would have to say “Tiny Dancer,” although I’m not particularly a fan of Elton John, and this is probably one of the most popular choices, it’s my favorite.

My favorite Simpsons episode would have to be any of the Treehouse’s of Horror episodes. Nothing compares to them. Possibly the “Who Shot Mr.Burns” episodes, those were fantastic.

Hard to say why I am the deserving person of your one free invite. Besides me being able to get really great use from a word press blog I guess my best reason is that I will continue to share the wealth. Meaning quit simply any invites I would recive would be used to pass around to other great people that need a voice.

My favorite Elton John song would have to be Daniel my brother for obvious reason. It was sung to me all the time when I was a kid.

My favorite Simpsons episode Hands down is when hommer starts a website and his whole family ends up on The Island. I just love that episode.

The reason? I’m a slightly opinionated blabbermouth, that likes hunting down odd and sometimes useless bits of information – and find people that make use of them. I’ve never really “blogged” before, but I’m sure I’ll get the hang of it….especially since most blogs that I’ve read seem in line with my interests (odd and useless information that people can’t get enough of).

Favorite Elton John song – Rocket Man…as a completely recovered drug addict of the late 70’s/80s, I can totally relate.

Favorite Simpson’s episode…Homer moves in with gay guys (“you’re always riding his ass, and not in a good way”) 2nd favorite – Homer’s hunger strike.

Well I am a crazy 13 year old Australian who has never blogged before.
I would use my blog to tell everyone about my imaginary adventures with my pet koala and my good friend Willy Wonka. It would be such fun, like in jingle bells!

Seriously, I would just love to create a great blog like yours, and make a pretty header with the customizing tool! – lol
